The Laboratory of Computational Modeling Methods (LAMEC), affiliated with the Technology Center (CT) at the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI), is an institutional space dedicated to teaching, research, and academic development. It focuses on advanced studies and the qualification of students through scientific initiation programs. The laboratory specializes in analyzing and solving complex engineering problems, with an emphasis on computational modeling and simulation applied to the railway and offshore industries, contributing to scientific knowledge and technological advancement in these fields.

Our mission is to foster the development of undergraduate students by providing a solid scientific and technical foundation, stimulating critical thinking, intellectual autonomy, and engagement with high-level research.
